We were recommended this resort by our travel agency. What a beautiful resort, we had a choice of 2 restaurants for breakfast both by the pool areas, excellent food, lots of choices. Dinner was a choice of 6 restaurants, Thai, Italian, Seafood, Japanese & buffets. The rooms were large & roomy looking over the pools & ocean. There was lots of activities eg. rockclimbing.
archery. putt putt. tennis etc, a great kids club with plenty to do. (we had a 8yrold,3yrold & 8monthold) they just couldn't get enough. We had our own private beach for resort guests only .The food was of highest standard, dinner cost anywhere in between 50 to 100aud for a three course meal&drinks. We went on 5 tours all up, fantasea-one of the best shows ever, sea
canoeing-highly rec, elephant trek, whitewater rafting, fountain-highly rec, coral island-not good, pee pee island-rec. We flew with thai air, but I would recommend Singapore airlines for kids. We had the best 10days and we are going back next year with our extended family and friends. The weather was just right no rain but temps of 32c everyday. We would highly recommend
this hotel to anyone with kids it worked out great after a lot of searching for the right family spot. There was also a 2yrold elephant named molly who visited the resort everyday morn & aft, the kids loved her. On our way home we stopped at this hotel on the river for 3nights,a beautiful place. We done the river Kwai tour-good & the floating markets & rose garden-excellent,
went to the night markets & got lots of good bargains. Not really rec for kids except for floating markets, but by this time we were just glad to be going home!!
