We were not impressed with this place at all!
Despite calling them beforehand to make sure that they were a good place to stay with a baby we were just mortified when we arrived. We stayed one night and left!
We booked a 1 bedroom unit but it was really just a large room divided with screen doors. There was no place to put the baby. The way that it was set up was that once you got bub to sleep at night you had to creep around quietly b/c the screens don't really block out any noise or light and it has no proper windows! And it was really noisy! And there are too many stairs for a pram!
You really need a baby that can sleep through absolutely anything to be able to stay here!
I guess you could get a 2 bedroom unit instead but that turns out to be very expensive and quite frankly the whole property is not worth it! Don't be fooled by their lovely web page either it makes them seem much more glam than what they are!!!!
Ps. While we were there we also had a look at a place that was called 'horizons' or something like that? it's on the main street coming into port Douglas - anyway it was designed by the same architect so suffers from the same problem.
pps. take your own travel cot with you. they do provide one free but I don't think that what they had there would pass any safety standards! We were very glad that we brought our own b/c I think that our 9 month old would have tipped their's over in 30 seconds!
