Well Palm Cove is beautiful and the Outrigger Beach Club and Spa was amazing. We just returned from a week's holiday with our 15mo and 3yo in September 2004. We had a two bedroom suite, this featured two bathrooms, laundry and kitchen, plus a large spa on the lanai/balcony. We had a ground floor room, and from our lanai there was a pool gate, step three steps down and you are at the pool.
And not just any pool. This would have to be one of the most fantastic pools for parents and children alike. It is a free form lagoon pool with a beach end, so all the young children were playing with their buckets and spades and were free to crawl in and out of the water. There is also a swim up bar which is great. We spent all our holiday by the pool and were close enough to our room for our children to nap while we were just outside. We all had a great time.
There is no kids club, but they do supply a number for babysitting. There are 4 restaurants at the front of the resort as well as many others in an easy walking distance. Most of these places supply highchairs and have kids menus. Across the esplanade is a small fenced off playground at the top of the beach. You can pick up coffee or ice cream from across the road and the entire family can have a ball.
I couldn't recommend it enough, and we are planning our return next year!
