we have been to noosa twice and both times stayed here. the pool & spa are fantastic. the staff are friendly. it is nice and central to everything with a shopping centre right out the back (about a 5 minute walk.) it is surrounded by shops and cafes. the apartments are modest, with most being 2 or 3 storey, some are better than others & i guess it's just the luck of the draw which one you get. the unit we had during our last stay needed a few things done to it, which we mentioned upon leaving, so we weren't as happy with it this time, but will go back. it doesn't matter where your unit is situated as the pool is central and close to them all.

OMG! I have been on holiday in Noosa 5 times. Every time we stayed at Islander. Not one time did it make us frown. This is the best value, most affordable resort in Noosa. Moondoggys rock. The [3] pools Rock, ISLANDER ROCK!!!!!!!!

Resort looks good and is well located in Noosaville, which itself is a great
spot. The main pool was too cold to swim in (May) - no heating. The heated pool
was pretty small - ok if you had it to yourself.
We had a 3 bed apartment which was very open-plan, so difficult to put the
kids to bed and watch tv or talk in a normal voice. Also, very steep stairs. I
think the 2 bed apartments would be better in this respect. Having said that,
the apartments were nice.
>No special kids activities, so really just a place to sleep. Nice feature was
the walks and tropical vegetation.
Quite well priced for the location and rooms.
